Hi, my name is Emma Stinson Owner, Designer, and manufacture behind Simply E Designs.
My handbag brand features both traditional elements of Leather & Weave, which have been both inherited and taught during my years of study. My journey with Leather began early on, when I was born into a family of traditional Saddler craftsmen whose skills and talents where flawless, growing up around the beautiful material of Leather had me hooked from the beginning. The smell and the possibilities were endless, and I couldn’t let this raw heritage go to waste, in this said I’m the third generation and first female amongst two male Saddlers.
Taking my raw heritage with Leather and giving it a place in the contemporary world of fashion excites me! My design concept behind my handbag designs is to offer a handbag that meets the demands of fast lifestyles of current society without the loss of style and aesthetic. Working from season to season on new collections taking on trends and exhausting possibilities “mixing old with new” is what I’m about.
My favourite leather to work with from A&A Crack & Sons is Country Cow and Timeshift due to their antique qualities and how they work so well when put together.
Regards to the future for Simply E Designs, each year comes with new opportunities and new doors opening everyday making Simply E Designs looks brighter for the future and exciting for what is to come. Watch this space!
