Stevedore - swatch book

Stevedore is simply a wonderful full grain, robust, heavy weight squared shoulder in a pure aniline finish. The generous size yields good belt lengths in rarely available and gorgeous Latin American colours. Despite its weight, Stevedore has a medium mellow handle.

Our Grandfather E F Crack was a stevedore at Millwall Docks in South East London. He regaled many a story of the unloading by hand of cargo ships from around the world with bets being made on that whom could carry the most on his back. He told us how he would tighten his well-worn thick leather belt with a brass buckle across his stomach like a weightlifting belt in an attempt to win 'the pot'. This inspired the name to bring you Stevedore.
