Washed Horse is a European veg tanned horse side that has been warm washed in a wooden drum, before being toggled out on frames to dry. After slicking with a liquor of natural animal fats, oils and waxes the tannery dry drum the hides, leaving a very rustic, tumbled and vintage looking leather. The finish is matte with a heavy, but soft slouchy handle.

Suitable for all footwear, leathergoods and a perfect look for Film/TV production costumes.
